Meet The Director

Takura is a Chartered Accountant with wide experience in banking, auditing, taxation and investments. Takura has been involved in the financial and related service sector since 2003. He began his career at HLB Ruzengwe Chartered Accountant Zimbabwe where he served articles of clerkship. He left HLB Ruzengwe (CAZ) in early 2007 to join Metropolitan Bank as Finance Manager where he was involved in overseeing the financial functions of the bank which included financial reporting, statutory reporting i.e. compliance with the requirements of the Central Bank, tax planning, budgeting and budgetary control. He was then promoted to be Head of Finance in June 2008. He held that position until joining Standard Chartered Bank Zimbabwe as Financial Controller in July 2008. The same year in November Takura left Standard Chartered Bank for Namibia where he joined Crown Finance Corporation as Finance Manager, where he was so instrumental in the setting up of the SME Bank Limited. Takura is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe and is also a member of the Institute of Risk Management.
